If you can lace a pair of shoes, you can put these on. Increases diameter of stock grips from 1 1/4 inches (31.70mm) to 1 5/8 inches (41.30mm) for an overall gain of 3/8 inches (9.50mm). These top-grain leather grip covers fit over the stock grips with no modifications necessary. They increase the diameter of the grip for a more comfortable feel while retaining the ability to use the factory installed heated grip functions and don't give you that squishy feeling you get from foam grip covers. These have gone through additional softening processes to increase comfort. I know I'm not the only person who's hands tingle or start to go numb from the small diameter of the stock grips. Compatible with Throttlemeister products. Made specifically for the Kawasaki Concours 14. Installation video coming soon.

Please note that an earlier reviewer incorrectly said you should remove the original grips and install these directly on the bar. The instructions clearly say these should be installed over the original grip. I like the feel of the larger grip, and they take some buzz out of the bars. They do, however, affect the performance of your heated grips. You'll still get good heat, but the temperature is not quite as high and takes a little longer. Installation is easy and the instructions are clear.

This item was the one that initially was puzzling me because I thought it was meant to go over the rubber grip covers but I later realised that the leather was made the same thickness as the original rubber grip to replace it, meaning that you need to cut off the rubber before installing it.
Once installed it works wonderfully.

The grips mount easily (slight trimming for right cover to clear a throttle lock) with clear instructions. I now can ride hours without hand cramping (yes, folks-the heat still gets through great!). A must-have accessory for LD riding.

Leather looks and feels nice. Holes to tie the covers on look like they need to be along the short sides of the leather square and not  along the long sides. The covers as they are now cover part of the handle bar ends and interfer with the throttlemeister throttle lock. I'm returning this item.
