The RAM-B-201U, standard double socket arm, has a socket at both ends that accommodates 1" ball bases. A single spring inside the arm opens the end sockets, allowing you to pivot the ball and socket connection. This socket technology allows for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.

Fantastic product and does exactly what I need it for. I run five RAM mount balls for Quadlock cell phone charger, dual RAM cup holders, and a GoPro. The AST balls are well made specifically for the C-14, and the RAM arms have plenty of room for adjustment so nothing hits.
